The work (In)Security Blanket is a sculpture made of various fabrics, paint, and fabric markers. Fear is an interesting little thing. It exists. The presence of fear is not necessarily always beneficial nor is it always hindering. However, during those times when different fears have a stronger grip on day-to- day life, one may find themselves wishing to rid themselves of some of that fear. If only one could embed fear into something as soft as fabric, then make that fabric into a blanket, and shed the blanket whenever needed. The blanket itself is displayed like a part of my hallow cocoon.
